Song

Imagine -Jhon Lennon

 Imagine there's no heaven

It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, you

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world, you

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

John Lennon's beloved song "Imagine" is a perfect example of how artists and musicians pour their feelings into their craft. Many people enjoy the fruits of their work and relate to the subject matter, whereas sometimes the art goes misunderstood. Some of these creative people will write an artist statement and others hope that the work speaks for itself. Oftentimes, the onlooker or listener must analyze the piece for themselves.John Lennon's "Imagine" was written to encourage peace. The songwriter obviously was trying to point out what measures can be taken to prevent war and other unhappy realities. The view of the song is of social reform and very political. It was a protest song that was written in 1971, during the Vietnam War. It was meant for a large audience of not only hippies, but anyone who supports peace.

It is hard to miss the fact that this is a song aimed at peaceful relations with such phrases as; “Imagine all the people living in peace,” “A brotherhood of man,” “Imagine all the people sharing all the world,” and “I hope some day you’ll join us and the world will live as one.” The theme is that if we all change the way we divide ourselves from each other; we can live together in a better place. This song contains very simple words to understand, yet it is so profound. There doesn’t seem to be any symbolism here. Lennon repeated the words “Imagine” and “all the people” numerous times for emphasis. His rhyme scheme was an end rhyme on lines two and four of every stanza. The suggestions that John Lennon makes are wise, because if everyone thought this way, it could conceivably work. That would be a perfect dream come true. It has moral value to it, because it is a humanitarian outlook. This is also esthetically pleasing. It is simple and sweet. In addition, it has perfect rhymes that are “catchy.” Sometimes historical fact can help with the context. This song was used to get people thinking about how to change things for a better connection with everyone. It was written while nations were warring. It had also been covered by bands like A Perfect Circle.

This song really is asking the listener to give up on discrimination based on ethnicity, social class, religion, nationalism, and the like. John Lennon is right that these prejudices can be eradicated when we stop believing in these categories that separate people. For example, almost any war ever fought had to do with religious beliefs. Maybe that wouldn’t happen if everyone could practice tolerance or even thrive with theological debate. There has been ethnic cleansing and genocide, too. When people have an unequal share of wealth, it leads to greed, power struggles, and hunger. This is not to say that he is a communist, but that it is unfair and ironic that one country will have a large percentage of it people starving and another country can have an obesity crisis.

Bandungspot

Tangkuban perahu is an active volcano, situated 30 km north of the city of Bandung in the direction of Lembang. It is the only crater in Indonesia that you can drive up to its very rim. Mount Tangkuban Perahu has a distinctive shape, and looks like an “overturned boat”. The huge crater is an astonishing view and you can walk around and explore this for around two hours. Here you will be greeted by sulfur fumes which the crater continues to emit although the volcano is not active.

Like so many of Java’s unusual geographical features, there is an interesting legend behind this fascinating mountain as expressed in the local legend of Sangkuriang. Sangkuriang was a strong young man, who had been separated from his mother, Dayang Sumbi since childhood. Yet, through God’s he came to meet her again. On the way home, he stopped by a small village where he met and fell in love with a beautiful girl, without realizing that the girl he loved was in fact his own mother, Dayang Sumbi, who had remained youthful through the years.

When Dayang Sumbi discovered the terrible truth of her lover’s real identity, she was horrified and knew that she could never marry her own son. She, therefore, challenged him to build a dam and a huge boat during one single night before she would agree to marry him. Seeing that her son was about to complete this impossible wish, she called on God to bring up the sun early. With a wave of her magic shawl, Dayang Sumbi lit up the eastern horizon with flashes of light. Deceived by what looked like dawn, the cocks crowed and farmers rose for a new day.

When Sangkuriang realized that his endeavor was lost, in his rage he kicked the boat that he had built turning it upside down, which was transformed into Mount Tangkuban Perahu, the name that in the local Sundanese language translates roughly to "overturned boat".

Tangkuban Perahu has definitely a significant role especially in the development of the surrounding Parahyangan (land of God) Highlands. Its eruption contributed immensely to the formation and fertility of the hills north of Bandung when through its flow of lava carrying large boulders into the valleys, these formed huge cliffs over which waterfalls leapt to form the lake that today covers the Bandung plain.

Located at the highland just at the outskirt of Bandung, Tangkuban Perahu Crater is surely a perfect place to enjoy cool air and relaxing sceneries after a series of shopping activities in some of the city's factory outlets or the popular Pasar Baru Trade Center. For a rejuvenating sensation, visitors can continue their journey to the nearby Ciater's Revitalizing Hot Springs.

Rainbow

Rainbow

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For other uses, see Rainbow (disambiguation).

Double rainbow and supernumerary rainbows on the inside of the primary arc. The shadow of the photographer's head on the bottom marks the centre of the rainbow circle (antisolar point).
rainbow is an optical and meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflectionrefraction anddispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the form of a multicoloured arc. Rainbows caused by sunlight always appear in the section of sky directly opposite the sun.
Rainbows can be full circles, however, the average observer sees only an arc formed by illuminated droplets above the ground,[1] and centred on a line from the sun to the observer's eye.
In a primary rainbow, the arc shows red on the outer part and violet on the inner side. This rainbow is caused by light being refracted (bent) when entering a droplet of water, then reflected inside on the back of the droplet and refracted again when leaving it.
In a double rainbow, a second arc is seen outside the primary arc, and has the order of its colours reversed, red facing toward the other one in both rainbows. This second rainbow is caused by light reflecting twice inside water droplets.

Hello now i want to tell you about my favorite food .This Fried rice is a staple in Asian culture. It can be made with many different ingredients: chicken, beef, and the list goes on. I decided to make a new variation with seafood. I had salmon and shrimp I needed to use so I decided to make seafood fried rice. It's the perfect combination of taste and nutritio

Step 1: Ingredient

To make this delicious recipe you will need:
  • A fillet of salmon
  • 10 medium sized shrimp
  • A stalk of celery
  • A couple slices of bell pepper
  • Half a carrot
  • 1 1/4 of uncooked rice
  • 2 cups of water
  • Olive oil
  • 1 egg (optional)
You can substitute many ingredients in place of these according to your taste.

Step 2: Prepare and Cook the Rice

Pour the rice into a separate bowl and add water (this doesn't need to be measured since this is for washing the rice only. Stir the rice around several times and pour out the water. Repeat for 2 more times. After, add the 2 cups of water to the washed rice and pour the mixture into the rice cooker. Usually it takes around 30 minutes for the rice to cook.

Step 3: Preparing the Seafood

Take out the salmon and shrimp. If they are frozen, soak them in water for about 5 minutes. Chop into small pieces to be added to the rice later.

Step 4: Preparing the Vegetables

Take out all the vegetables you've gathered and chop into small pieces. This is to be added to the fried rice later. If you want the vegetables to be soft, you can boil them for a couple of minutes.

Step 5: Making the Fried Rice

Make some seasoning with salt or whatever suits your tastes. I used salt, soy sauce, and sugar. Cool down the cooked rice. While waiting for the rice to cool, heat up a saucepan to medium high with some olive oil and add the salmon and shrimp. After the seafood is cooked halfway, add the vegetables and cook for a little longer. Add the rice and seasoning. Cook for about 3 more minutes and take off the heat.
